A gracious 'hello'

I was on the phone last night with Original Mavis for three hours.  We've not had a marathon phone call like that in a while, and it was nice.  I feel quite good today and I think a lot of it is due to just expressing myself and getting my feelings out.  That's been difficult to do since moving to C-ville.  I've a couple of friends here that I knew before the move.  But they've got uber-busy lives here, so we don't get to hang out that much.  And meeting new people and gathering a new crowd has been more difficult than I thought it would be.  So, it was nice last night to talk to someone who's known me for almost twenty years.  Thanks, Mavis.
